Water Tap fixing 2 weeks ago my water tap started to lick , day after a day it was getting worse , water was running badly! After I saw my water bill and I was very disappointed! leak in the sink and tree roots clogging my drains
I'm currently living in an older home where their is a large tree in front of my house. We started having issues with flushing my main floor toilet. It would never flush properly and sometimes it would overflow. I called many companies to deal with the issue but they were only a temporary fix and it would go back to the way it was before. This was really frustrating! I was spending money on a problem that was never resolved. Until one day I had a leak coming from my basement ceiling, I new I had a big problem on my hands. A friend of mine told me they used Public Plumbing and that she only trusts them to do the plumbing work for them. They fixed my toilet issue permanently which was causing the leak in my ceiling. They told me this was caused from the tree roots located in front of my house clogging my drains. Its been a couple years now and I never had issues with my toilet again. Two weeks ago I noticed a leak in my sink which was dripping into the downstairs bedroom, so I called public plumbing which I found using this site. Within a few hours a plumber named Vlad arrived and fixed the leak. He was friendly and did a wonderful job leaving my kitchen just as clean as I left it (and I like to keep my kitchen clean!). Basement plumbing
Hello. I was so pleased with the work these guys did for us that I had to share. I got a leak in our basement from an old pipe. I got a few specialists come in for an estimate and we went with Public, who were not the cheapest but seemed the most sincere. The guys were really friendly, informative and most of all they respected our property. We all know the mess workers can leave behind but these guys were surprisingly tidy. Five stars from me.

Plumbing Repair
We had a persistent sewer smell problem in our basement and bedroom closet. We called another plumber who quoted a $1000 smoke test in order to find the source of the sewer gas leak. We called Public Plumbing for a 2nd opinion and with some investigation Vlad was able to determine there was no P-Trap for the laundry drain and a corroded area in the original cast iron vent stack in our closet area. He fixed the problem the next day without the need for an expensive smoke test and the stink is gone. Thanks Vlad!

Replacing drains and installation of backflow valve
We discovered we had a sewage backup in our basement a couple of weeks ago in our 80+ year-old house. On a recommendation from a neighbour we called Public Plumbing. I have to say that the experience was positive in every aspect. The guys from Public Plumbing came over and gave me a step-by-step explanation of what our problem was (tree roots through the drains), and how they were going to correct it. They dug into our floors, and replaced all of the clay pipe with plastic and installed a backflow valve to prevent further problems. The city inspector actually commented on how good the work is when he came-by for approval. The price paid is lower than what we've heard other people have paid for similar situations. Topping all this off - the guys left our basement extremely clean (and mid-job, with all of the earth around, I wasn't sure how it would look). Overall: The guys at Public Plumbing are good people. They communicate regularly with the client (so refreshing). They are reasonable. They do a great job, in the time quoted, for the price quoted, and leave it clean. Thank you to everybody at Public Plumbing for giving us peace-of-mind and doing a fantastic job.

I'd been putting off replacing the ancient shutoff valve and corroded water service from the basement to the property line. When I needed the work done in a short time-frame, Public Plumbing was recommended. I found the people friendly and very knowledgeable, the communication good, the price fair, and the quality of work excellent. The job was started quickly, and was all done in one day, including excellent cleanup both inside and outside the house. The 20-year guarantee shows they stand behind the quality of their work. Replace Hot Water Heater
I had a fairly simple job to replace and old, inefficient hot water heater. After calling around I found that most places quoted somewhat ridiculous prices for this job, I stumbled upon Public Plumbing and there price was much better than what everyone else quoted me. The gentleman that came did an amazing job, he was very neat, thorough, and quick. He even took my old water heater for recycling.

I had the fellows from Public Plumbing rough-in my planned basement bathroom. My sister had used them for a job in her basement - essentially fixing someone else's mistakes, and had highly recommended them. I had three highly rated contractors come in to quote, and while I would have been happy to have hired any of them, the personal reference and the very reasonable price tipped my decision in Public's favour. From the start, they were comprehensive and detailed when they came in for the quote, reassuring me that they would not be satisfied until I was happy with the job. Indeed, they were very easy to get a hold of if I had questions and promptly returned any messages I left with them. The entire job took two days - the second day being quite long due to some of the peculiarities of my basement. As soon as the crew entered my house, they took care to protect any surfaces that could be damaged and when they left, there was no evidence of them being there beyond the work itself, which was excellent. The work included breaking the concrete slab, ripping out the old clay drainpipes that were there, replacing them, roughing in for a toilet, shower stall, sink, laundry sink and washing machine, then running the hot and cold supply (PEX) and hooking everything up to the vent. I couldn't be more pleased. The concrete work was smooth and solid (unlike previous work I had done by another contractor - review to follow!), everything was exactly where I'd requested it and the whole job looks very neat and tidy. Tree Roots in my sewer
The day my wife and I were to leave on our honeymoon, our sewer drain backed up all over our basement. Within 2 hours Vlad showed up and assessed the problem and assured us that our house would be safe while we were gone. Upon return, Vlad and his team showed up and replaced the damaged sewer drain from the stack to the property line. A messy job done well and cleanly. I'm the owner of Morina Sports Screening Inc, we do team uniforms & company promo wear, we had trouble with leaky pip in our wash screen area on Sat & we needed it fix right away. High Water Table
I was tiling my basement floor and the tiles were cracking because the concrete was wet due to a high water table. Naz came out and assessed the problem, we had a high water table and it was literally breaking down the concrete. He very confidently and quickly assessed the problem and came up with the solution to put a proper weeping tile and sump pump system in. It has fixed our problems and we are very grateful My advice to anyone is to use Public Plumbing for any of your plumbing or waterproofing needs, do it right the first time with them. Backed up sewer

Drain, sewer pipe replacement, backwater valve install We needed a basement drain replaced, and wanted to check for tree roots, as the house is older an we smelled some sulfur odours. They discovered some cracked pipes and roots in our pipes, which needed replacing in places. Naz and his crew were very professional. They replaced pipes in the house and in the yard. They had to dig under our hedge and they kept all of the pieces and re-planted them afterward, even adding extra topsoil to help it settle again. Inside they carefully covered the work area to prevent debris getting all over the room. After the job was finished, Naz came back a week or so later to help us put the carpet back down again, which we really appreciated. Many others wouldn't be this helpful. I highly recommend Naz and his crew from Public Plumbing.

After speaqking with a few plumbing and drain companies I was recommended to Nazer and Boris at Public Plumbing. Boris came to my house and in plain english explained to me what I needed and why and answered all my questions. After some fair negotiations I agreed to the work and they started the following week. Their team was polite, determined and very friendly and from concrete breaking to their boot wraps for inside the house, they really provide great service and efficient work. Walter and his team were so focused they completed everything in one day, including pouring concrete over the holes they had made. We agreed to have him and his workers come back a week later and do the project. It's a big job but it was completed yesterday all in one day. The crew was quiet, professional and left the place cleaner than it was to start with. Now we are really happy with the pressure throughout the house and the knowledge that our household water is no longer soaking in lead before it reaches us. It was fun going around flushing toilets and running faucets and seeing how much pressure we have now. But also, we feel that we are being given very good service, in addition to quality workmanship.
